just finished a 10 mile test ride...... and I can tell you....No matter how may pipes you build......from CF....each time the glass burns in....smoking a little..... It sure get's you nervous......like...what is burning.... packing...or...ehhhh.... "did I grab the wrong epoxy"..... I will put this pipe just about on par with the stock pipe noise level from the riders view..... Or should I say....listening position. It is hard to believe......I know...I know.... But mind you the camera, has an automatic sound leveling circuit.....and so the volume appears the same...but just as a aperture opening on a camera in lower light....so does this camera. It is crazy.... Cruising at 50 you cannot hear the exhaust....... only when you accelerate, can you hear it a little. I am stoked...... It has a lower frequency sound to it...rather than the snappy mid to high frequency pitch as the LVone. I know this is totally a personal matter....but That's what I like. Simply incredible to run an open exhaust...this quiet...... The whole motor through out the entire rpm range now to me has a beautiful....awesome...pleasant voice..... Sorry.... to all you that have followed this build.... You can obviously see that I'm excited...... Whooooooeeeeeeee. And..an important note here.... This build does not necessarily hinge on Carbon fiber.... The same principles apply.... You want to pick up a aluminum sleeve.....or a used Yosh TRC from a GXSR..... you could make your own......Off to practice....

Very nice, thanks for documenting this and sharing it. I may never make some thing like this but it was enjoyable to learn.

Thought I'd post a video of a NO pipe installed test..... The sound meter was not moved, as the luggage box shielded the pickup quite a bit, as this is really loud...... Silly...I know... But just in case you wonder how it sounds, and how effective a muffler have to be....
