As far as i could see the FP is in the left tank. There are wires visable going there.

Does the 1190R have a remote preload? Didn't see it in the photos.

Just got my issue of BIKE - they chose the GS I normally respect those Brits but I think they had to have gotten this wrong!

I just finished reading the Bike test ... they picked the GS as the "winner" but frankly the KTM sounded better. MUCH faster, lighter, and good fuel economy. What's not to like? Can't wait till it's here in the US.

Yes, you're right.
My 2009 990R had 265mm. The 2011 version got the 245mm. Because the bike was toooooo high and the marketing told: we have to do something

I think they were sucking up to BMW after reporting the tank slapper problem. faster, lighter, better handling, better range... but it didn't win?

Hi Igorpetrovich!

To be honest, I just rode 10 Km from dealer to home! (Bussy at work)
The only thing I can tell you is that bike feels veeery light! It's like driving a small two stroke Yamaha DT

Makes a fair difference to me as I am 6'4" tall but i fear its benefits might be negated when my ergo seat arrives. (If it ever arrives at all....)

Much as i love my bike, I am very disappointed that KTM are unable to supply the accessories.
