Anyone know the dimensions if the handlebar clamps on the 1190?

I'm curious if 990 risers, top clamps, etc will fit

yes, M+S should be marked on the tyre, otherwise in Europe those tyres aren't legal because the speed coefficent is lower than required.

Guys I am still on trip done 250 miles so far .there are no problems on the bike she is fantastic although I am taking it easy she still doesn't struggle with my pillion and bags .my only problem is the bang on my helmet at 80 mph and onwards .i change the screen high nothing to do with it . The wind coming from left and right :/ anyway I stop for filling her up and when I get on the 5 miles motorway joint I push her to 100mph to just see where is that banging coming from and just find out its coming from the mirrors just on top of the mirrors wind comes to my head ! I can't believe it never experience this before what you all think?

By the way long journey 39 mpg and its two up sport mode with luggage . But still I am waiting for a lot better then that ! At least 48 mpg

The Aussie importer decided these bulky things will come by boat in 4 weeks to increase their profits - So out of all the extras I ordered only the bar-risers were fitted. KTM AU will sell you a top of the range bike for $23K and make you wait for the options - KTM UK seems far more professional .... KTM AU lift your game

Question suspension?

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference comfortwise between a regular 1190 adv and one with electronic susp.? Alsothe amount of fork dive and squat compared with a 990 adv?
Thanks

They are both good but electronic suspension one is easy user friendly you can just adjust damping or rebound on a push of button with no tools and the adventurer you need tools but again you can make fine adjustments with adventure r.but I think they are both fantastic confortwise .

The fork dive is normal but not as much as 990 but don't forget they are not as good as bmw forks . Bmw forks not dive at all normal standard traditional forks always dive a little under harsh braking.

the drive on the R is 220 mm against the 210 mm of the 990 (non R)
the drive of the T is 190 mm

So I gather the comfort is about the same?
Regarding the fork dive, I'm not expecting tele/paralever levels but the 990R I rode had so much fork dive that it was disconcerting. I am hoping for less than that. Otherwise I may have to look at the Duc 1200 MTS 8with the skyhook).

Another concern I have is that KTM will come out with a semi-active version quite soon...

Hehe, here comes the bimmer bashing
I like the GS for the comfort and stability under braking, but don't consider the suspension "superior" due to the high unsprung weight and minimal front end feel.
I think what he meant was only regarding front end dive...

Depending on year 990R front susp travel is 265mm / 245mm. It's truly an off road bike so you should expect lots of diving.
