Exhaust

has anyone else done this??

apparently you have to cut both ends of the stock muffler to remove the internals, replace the center with a perforated pipe and re pack the muffler making it a straight through muffler like most after market ones. Sounds tuff, i have a mate who fabricates motorcycle exhausts in his garage for a bit of extra coin so with his welding skills i think i'll give it a go.

That does sound pretty bad ass, be great to hear that coming around a curve and exiting with hard acceleration...

Globescout top case for 1190

Hi,

This weekend, I got a top case installed on my bike.

It's a black anodized 40 lt Globescout case.

You can check the pictures at their vendor's thread here:

Looks nice, what do you guys think?

Thanks to Globescout for their interest and help

I just receive today the H&B rack, but I dont like their panniers.

Has anyone found a high front fender for this yet?

Great bike, as soon as it hits the US I'll be looking to get the R, but a high fender seems a necessity to me.

USA test rides

I just got an email from KTM saying the 1190 Adventure and Adventure R will be available for demo rides at the KTM Rally in Colorado in September.

And where would they be headed as a final destination, so the Georgia gallery of 1190 followers can view it up close and personal, maybe even sit on it?

As far as I can tell, there are two dealers near me, Mountain Motorsports and KTM World...well, there is a dealership I think in Roswell...

How exciting though!!!

Well I wonder if it needs any modifications, everyone can just go and grab any exhaust and put it on their bike? It must need a lot mapping too.

Gsxr is inline 4 cylinder and 1190 is v twin... How can that exhaust would fit and perform?

The way it is the radiator is very exposed and it's easy to damage it even on the street

Hi Igorpetrovich,

I just receive mine today!. Could you please told me where do I put the foam stickers? Do I need to cut them?
