so what's the latest projection/speculation/guess on when the 1190 is available in the USA?

nice video/review of the 1190R...make it look much more dirty worthy than I expected

I would also like to know that.
I also thought that I heard somewhere that the next years model will be the 1290, has anyone heard that? Seems kind of weird that they would come out with one model year then change it again the following year.
If it is true I wonder if it will be the same bike with only a displacement change.

Somewhere a year ago KTM's long range plans got accidentally released on the internet. Anyone still have a link to those? It was a plan from the board of directors.

I was at Bill Eddies Motorsport in Fayetteville, AR yesterday. The head salesman says KTM is promising him a demo (and he thought it was an R) sometime in Aug.

And he said (which I think is rather optomistic) that the for sale bikes would be in 30 days or so after that.....

All this info is worth exactly what it cost you......

The dealer in VT told me they don't think they will have it this year.

My dealer states his demo will arrive in September, with bikes arriving in November.

So this year you get a 1090 Adventure, while the rest of the world gets an 1190?

Read the same in the motorcycling magazine. My recall spring has just arrived, honestly not much change.

I'm surprised about the front suspension spring rate being suggested as an upgrade though.. not that its the best comparison but it shits over the bmw suspension.. and one of the reviewers said it was a tad on the stiff side.. I think its about right.

FINALLY Australia got something before you guys!!

So I have to ask, what did the USA do to piss off Austria to not be the first to get them (for once)?
