Thanks Velociraptor, Mike and wpbarlo and whoever else comments. Its good to hear feedback. I'm just an amateur but sometimes seeing/hearing things from people who aren't a professional is good.

Nerb,

Is that update to allow speedo calibration due in October?

Not sure when you made your video...

The new Bosch MSC... hmmmm

This new Bosch MSC sounds like a kill joy to me..

• MSC can prevent the wheels from slipping when braking while leaned over. Ok thats good
• MSC minimises the righting motion of braking while leaned over. Ok thats good
• MSC prevents rolling over in emergency stops.Ok thats good
• MSC prevents rear wheel skids when accelerating while leaned over. Wait.. what the?
• MSC prevents the front wheel rising while accelerating Hold up my Bosch, why in gods name are you going to stop this? Your system already does a good job to 'drop it like its hot' but dont kill it totally!!

I recorded that bit on Tuesday. So end of October. I was told one month, however that came from KTM Australia... not the factory itself.

Lets be honest, its not going where a 100kg 450 is going. But im happy for you to nominate a time and place and we'll go out to the bush, find some gnarly tracks and i'll record and post to prove these suckers wrong!

I am checking Metzeler sight; I can find KTM 1190 from the drop down menus, but it says there is no suitable tire for your bike. On the other hand, if I enter the sizes direct, I can see the Tourance Next and Karoo3 has suitable sizes. Any of you have an idea about the reason of this?

I put the karoo 3 on today, on street the seem very good.
the speed index is R (170km/h) but since they are M+S in Europe it's possible to use them.

As commented on the video you 1190 Owners need to monitor not only the speedo but the odometer as well... don't get screwed out of 10% of your warranty.

I hope the MSC can be turned off ("Hooligan" and "off road" modes)
