I see you've also placed a bigger wind screen? Is that the Adventure size or the biggest size available?
I've installed the KTM bigger screen and it was a big improvement, not only over the helmet but also around the body, but I still have to put the neck a little bit down to get no wind. No vibrations too. I'm using the top case too (Ktm original) and above 200km/h it gets a little bit dangerous to drive.

Yes i could pry my x-lite helmet in, but calling it a fit is a far stretch.
With a quick look at the "waterproofing" method used on the standard plastic boxes, I concluded it was not meanth for west coast of Norway. I recommend others to take a closer look before ordering.

Have only ridden it for about 20 Kay's and not when particularly hot but yes I think it is going to make a difference. More for the legs than the knackers though!

I did get and fit the KTM underseat heat shield last night too so will be interesting too see how it all is when I get on him next.

Heat

Interesting as its getting hot in Oz and particularly on the left side there is noticeably uncomfortable heat coming off the engine and exhaust,,,,,,,,,this could be a solution for me but I was thinking more of wrapping the exhausts to contain the heat as if you look around one finds the rectifier and shunt regulator just behind the seat lock.....what I consider to be a bad place to put it as heat is the enemy of semiconductors [ rectifiers and mosfets ] and as said this is a shunt regulator meaning it does not control what is coming out of the alternator but rather dissipates [as self heating ] the excess power [ it regulates what has come out of the alternator ] tis could be [ heat ] why, [for those who have not found it yet ! ], KTM place the second computer in a die cast box right at the back just behind the tail light.........

I would assume that the intent is for the screws to break off in the event of a fall onto the stand, leaving the case intact...anyone else have any info on this, or practical experience...

Not trying to say this is a good idea...a frame mounted stand would be more bullet proof...
yup meant to say Engine.. Screws breaking off is a huge pain. I am sure BD will fix this though

I put on the middle sized screen and it made it worse! Helmet started vibrating at 110K's and at 130 my vision was blurry! So had to put the extension on I had on the small screen! With the small screen I had buffering which was not that bad when I ducted down a bit...just tyring. This medium sized is a nightmare...Getting the tall one mañana!
