[QUOTE=Hondo;19654486]Do you think that the new bike will be able to jump the log like my KLR650 did?

When did the KLR get so soft they added a low pipe???

Just makes me smile

I bet every 990 and 950 guy (including me) having fun giving the new design the pre release bench racing ride review wants nothing more for the new design to be better than the current 990 when it actually arrives. Peeps getting a little defensive of a bike photo. One way or the other for now it's just a photo.

Some one said we love the look of our 950/990's and we just don't want to have something that looks like everything else. Maybe that's a little bit or maybe a whole lot of truth to that, as I love the look of 990. There is nothing wrong with wanting something different, especially when form follows function.

I have owned many many motorcycles over the years. Can't say there hasn't been one bike that has surpassed the enjoyment I have had out of my 990. I can say I have never owned a bike like this. When it's parked at work or in my garage with other bikes, I walk by it , I just can't help looking at it and just smiling. I don't do this with the other bikes. Anyone else have this 950/990 fixation?

I will also be first in line when the 690-800 version of the 990 shows up, if that ever happens.

I tried asking WW... I guess if it's not made from Starbuck's highly compressed coffee grounds, it's not worth talking about.

I know NOTHING !

A 810cc, v-twin to be released at the end of 2013 as 2014 model.

The 990 will remain in production as well...

Some comparisons

Apparently the 1190R is equivalent to the standard 990.

Harley riders polish their chrome when they stop.
1190 riders will pick mud out of their swing arms at every stop.
