Hangtown has worked out well for JS7 and team yellow bike. No crashes even...
A 1-1 is a good start, let's see if he can maintain the "no crashing" thing. Dungey riding to second was predictable but Alessi pulling off a third was pretty cool to see.

if nothing else Stewarts going 1-1 proves that when guys are talking about "testing" as reasons for lack of results etc etc is mostly a lot of hooey.
gee how did he win with so little time for "testing". ![]() I knew that idiot would do something stupid like this. |

I guess the new Yamaha is a
. Awesome ride by JS and what a great job he did by taking the high road at the finish line interview.

Not all bikes are created equal, just like in any other form of racing, some guys go quicker with less testing on one bike than they would with months of testing on another (see BMW in WSBK...). Add to that the ability of the team to respond to testing and provide viable improvements. I can't see how going quick and not crashing on this bike makes him an idiot? I thought according to public opinion he was an idiot for wasting his talent by crashing?

I'm sure Suzuki kept records of what worked for the last 3 guys that won titles for them.
![]() And that is only one race, we'll see how he does as the series rolls on. |

JS7 looked fast. Lets see if he can stay crash-free for most of the season... if so, he probably wins it. Damn I wish Reed and RV1 were out there though... Dungey is a great rider, but he just doesn't seem to have the aggressiveness those other guys have... look how long it took Dungey to get around Alessi today when JS7 had no problems getting by.
PS - where is Erin Andrews? And the Monster girls? I miss them!!!

he's an idiot from the moment his foot hits the floor each morning until his head hits the pillow each night. nobody is in awe of his ability on a bike more than me but I've concluded just like Lawrence Taylor his talents have nothing to do with his behavior as a person. He's not in Taylors class of idiot but an idiot none the less.

Yeah, big time. But only in his dreams is JS even close to being as big of a star as L.T., they really shouldn't even be compared in the same sentence. As much as we live and breath this sport, outside of our tiny niche, no one even recognizes the names of past and present greats. The NFL has more fans that watch their sport in one day than MX/SX combined does in 10 years.

4 to 5 weeks is usually about all the other guys get to set up for the real racing outdoors, I'd guess he had about the same.
