As long as the rain is steady, we will have great race. Maybe even some CRT bikes can duke it out for the podium.

So, this takes me back. Last year my back was all messed up -- herniated disc with a bout of sciatica. I was knocked out for about TWO WEEKS, practically unable to stand.

So, I'm sitting comfy, on drugs and with a cold pack on my spine. Watching the race. When THAT (^^^^^) happened, I shouted so loud my wife raced downstairs to make sure I was OK!

The problem with that video is it doesn't show the corner workers / marshals or what ever holding Casey's bike on the ground while they get Rossi started and on his way.

Actually I'd forgotten how wet it was for that. I remembered it being only damp but there was significant moisture from the looks of the video.

Yeah, let's not rehash that whole conversation. Find the thread from last year if you still want to get worked up by nothing.

I heard it from a reliable source that ten corner workers held Casey down on the ground while the rest picked up Rossi's bike, served him tea, and then gently pushed him back onto the track.

Your source said ten? A little bird whispered to me that it was one or two more than that. They said he was a tough little critter to keep hold of, too. And he whined ...

And ... don't tell a soul but, from what I've heard, that wasn't just tea.
