Baja 500 2012

Why can't I find the course map for the 2012 Baja 500? There seems to be no link on the official page.
Does anyone have it?

The 500? It's June 1. I know the 1000 is not out yet, as that is in November.

SCORE won't release the map until pre-running officialy begins, that would be 2-3 weeks before the race.

Are you planning on racing or just doing some prerunning?

Neither. Just spectating and looking for support opportunities. I'm a total road rider, at my age, or with the condition of my knees.
But this is my year for Baja riding. I plan on following the 1000 down to La Paz in November, also, and then I'll spend some more time in Cabo.

Thats cool. The car team I have been working for isn't doing the 500 this year so I'm open for the 500, hoping to get onto a bike team as either a rider or as support. The car team will be doing the B1k though so I too will be heading to La Paz next November

Same-O-bland-O as last year, the only exception is they've gone back to the rock whoops on the beach and cut out the soft steep hills in Erinderia.

I don't care which thread is the official thread.
I have tried to find accommodations for race weekend and it seems like there in nothing available. I think there is something at Santo Tomas but that may well be full if I go down there.
However, this coming weekend, when pre run starts, appears to be less popular and there may be space available down there.
On the RT I can only use the road, mostly, but I was thinking I may be able to ride down 3, then use the cross over road from Valle de la Trinidad to 1.
Or might it be too crazy on Saturday, while there may be pre runners doing more than seeing the scenery?

The cross over from Valle T is rough in places and fast, if you do take that route watch your mirrors closely, prerunners will be coming up FAST!
