Wow.

RdP wipes out Edwards in qualifying. Looked nasty .

And Silva made an outrageous save of a high-side/wheelie a lap before.

Great to see Cal do the job. He'll take it to the leaders the whole way in the race. Hope he comes a decent second.

Looks like it really took JB 80 seconds to fix it. That's how long it probably takes to copy Hayden's settings.

On a more serious note, I don't see them fixing much. Yes, they are under 1 second but the lap time is around 1.37, not +2 minutes. That's like another sector. And a few more tenths between the top rider and Rossi.

I do hope Cal sends someone round to Lorenzo's garage to remind George that he should be on his best behavior tomorrow as decorum dictates he not attempt to pass Cal until 2/3 race distance as been completed.

At least factory Honda beat out their satellite counterparts. Yamaha and Ducati not so much.

A lot of traffic problems for the prototype bikes dealing with crt machines in qp. Pretty annoying.

I keep looking at the fastest laps in Moto2 and then at the back 1/3 of MotoGP (I guess mostly CRT bikes) and there is much overlap. In qualifying several of the top Moto2 riders would have been taking it to the slowest 4 MotoGP bikes, Edwards included. Seems if there is overlap between classes, somethings wrong with the way the rules are set up.... Why not let some of the Moto2 guys race in MotoGP?

Because that wouldn't be fair. Moto2s are only six-hundreds. MotoGP have 1000cc. There is no way the Moto2 guys could compete.
