FI question
I just got my 990ADV back together. I added the CPR filter and changed the plugs. I was letting it idle so I could check the oil and whatnot (changed the oil as well) and the FI Light started flashing. It looks like I'm getting 7 long flashes and 2 shorts. Any one have this problem or know the code?
I don't have access to a desk top right now or I would do some digging.... Thanks for the help! EDIT: Okay I got home and was able to find it... "stepper motor for 2nd throttle valve"... I'm sure the it's doing this because it is hitting the plate for my air filter... I don't have the secondaries at all so I would like to find a way to just delete that system because the FI light flashing all the time is not going to fly  ...Any feedback from you guys?

First don't ride it like that. There is little chance that the stepper will burn out as it will go in a safety mode and then put the ecu in limp mode.
The engine might cut out on you. Call Chris at CPR, they have an updated bottom plate with a recess that fixes that issue. Don't ask how I know. But they will take care of you. Pm me for more details if you'd like.
