I bleed mine for a long long time and it seemed fine but had same symptom. I reverse bleed it and a large bubble cme out (from slave I assume) then it worked like a champ. Might not be the same issue....

just looked on the inside of the clutch cover and it is warn down. The basket cover must be rubbing on the inside of the clutch cover! Maybe I have to many plates installed? The last plate is to the tip of the basket. Can someone show me a pic of what the basket should like when all installed? Blessings! It still makes the noise even without the cover on it. The red plastic adjustment piece on the clutch lever is fully turned in. I really think I have to many plates?

Counted all the discs and numbers are correct.
1.Why would the basket be touching the clutch cover? There is a shim and a convex washer/shim on the very inside. 2.The plates are sticking together pretty good I had to pry them apart with my fingers. Should they stick together like that?

There is a thin spacer and spring, (the convex spacer) installed in the inner most basket and 1 clutch fiber that
has a larger inner diameter to accommodate that spring and spacer. Did the new clutch fibers have that one odd ball? That might be part of the problem if a full fiber is on top of those 2 spacers. If it is a full fiber pull those 2 pieces out and give it a try thats how I run them in my recluse, or install the one odd ball fiber you replaced with that thin spacer and spring. Also given where the bleeder is on the slave it's very hard to get the air out in my experience. Yes oiled plates have resistance when trying to pick them straight off each other.

Your pressure plate does not have signs of friction with anything. There is nothing else to rub to the clutch cover. Could it have had an incident of loose pressure bolt?
