You bet we are. (If that's okay with Jane cos she is the boss)

Have just put the liners back in my jacket and pants. Will respray them in waterproofing tomorrow night.

Look on the bright side there is only a 70% chance of rain, it could be worse we could be heading to Orbost which has 90%

"Boss" ............... what Boss? Who me, ...........nahhh!

Yup we really are gonna do it, well I am anyway. No brain no pain, actually I expect to be in a world of misery so maybe there is a walnut of a brain in the lump on my shoulders???

We'll just stop at lots of cafes on the way and warm up with steaming hot cuppa's.

Care for a cuppa?

Hot chocolate, warm belly.

See, I've got toasty warm cafe's on the brain at the moment.

70% chance of between 0 and 5 mm, a bit higher chance of up to 10mm on Sunday..........

Just enough to keep the dust down.

Mrs Stigasaurus here.

Been following your thread with interest and wish I lived closer so I could join in (well I did until I saw the weather!) I could do with some female mentors to help me increase confidence on the dirt. Don't get me wrong, my bloke and the ones I ride with are great. Its not the riding ability I lack (I can handle myself pretty well on my 1200GS), but a "positive mental attitude" on the non-black stuff.

Have fun and enjoy the hot chocolate!

We'd love you to join in also Mrs Stigasaurus (gee I have to concentrate to spell that one, and I probably still got it wrong :loll), can you start your own girly dirt riding group in your area? Like you I also ride with some great blokes, but on the Chix rides we have heaps of fun, enjoy having girl time on bikes and I think most of us relate to confidence struggles even if it doesn't look like it eh.

Good tip. Does spray on anti-fog work on spectacles as well as visors?

I am apologising in advance girlz.

I won't be riding very fast because I don't want my umbrella to blow inside out. Hope that is okay.

Will have to see about the dirt, gravel should be okay, but snotty slippery crap will be no go as I will be taking good old fat Barry who is wearing unsuitable tyres for slippery stuff.

Ooh, must remember to waterproof spray my gear.

I aint doin no snotty slippery stuff either.

Hey stop worrying Canary, you don't need to apologise for anything.
You saw how much we giggle and carry on at the World Championship Trials weekend, well our rides are no different and we are good at looking out for each other. If there's a bit of road you don't like, you won't be the only one I can assure you, at that point we turn around and find another route that's fun, not scary.

There's been so much rain, it has to stop by the weekend cause there'll be no more water in the sky. So hopefully you won't need your umbrella.

A big to V Twin for fixing my heated grips for the trip tomorrow on his day off.

Top box all packed ready to leave in the morning.

If you see Barry and no me at Yarra Glen, I am probably having a hot nearby.

Great weekend girls, thanks for the company and the laughs. Don't think I have enough photos for a ride report as it was so cold and inclement I didn't get the picture taking device out much.
Powermel and I found some more fun back roads on our way home which is always good.

Here is a sort of ride report, although minus photos as I didn't take any.

After a chilly ride to Yarra Glen I met up with Jardine and Sueurchin. After a chat for a couple of minutes we were off to meet the others at Yea.

Marmalades , hot chocolate with a marshmallow.

Jardine and I watched Sueurchin eat her 2nd breakfast of eggs benedict with bacon, and listened intently about the joys of her heated vest. I thought that she was joking until she showed me the vest with the lead that plugs into her charger on her bike. After our 2nd cuppa Mel and Miss Jane arrived and Miss Jane had a lovely breakfast of home made baked beans and poached eggs. Jardine and I kept saying that there had better be electric blankets at Jamieson or there would be tantrums.

After some more chit chat we decided to hit the road and head for Jamieson via Eildon. Jardine took the lead and I will let her tell you the roads, but I remember the we did ride the Eildon - Jamieson road which was wet littered with bark, bits of trees and other slippery crap. Most of us rode rather cautiously except for Jardine who met us at the lookout. I tell you that girl can ride and can't even touch the ground on her bike, I am extremely envious.

At the end of the Eildon - Jamieson Road, we headed to Mansfield for some late lunch as we did not leave Marmalades till after 12:00. Arrived at the Mansfield bakery which was lovely and toasty warm and had our fill of hot food and some even had some cake or slice.

Then as it was getting late and colder we headed straight for Jamieson. There was a bunch of dirt bike riders out the front wondering what the heck was going on as 5 girls rock up on bikes, and watched as we parked the bikes and started unloading our gear.

After finding our rooms and to our relief finding that our beds had electric blankets it was time to unpack and get ready for . Some people Mel, were horrified to find that their shower was cold, others Jardine was very happy to keep reminding Mel, how lovely and warm her shower was.

The meals were lovely and sitting at our table in front of the fire was very relaxing. Unfortunately despite the large amount of contenders we were unable to find a suitable V Man for Sueurchin, so we gave up trying. Sueurchin is far too picky, what's wrong with a bit of hair?.

Off to bed to a lovely warm electric blanket heated mattress for some. Jardine was not so lucky after the lovely warm shower climbed into a freezing cold bed. Tried to drag Miss Jane out of her bed to swap, but Miss Jane would not be moved. Sueurchin was the next choice as she had brought a hot water bottle just in case, but Jardine couldn't be bothered trying to find her room so gave up and climbed back into her cold bed.

Up bright an early in the morning and met up with Jardine and Miss Jane who were already eating their breakfast. I had the complimentary bowl of Coco Pops. Next to the breakfast room was Mel bringing her own muesli bars. Suprisingly we didn't see Sueurchin for breakfast as she was not hungry.

Jardine headed off on her own as she had some roads that she wanted to check out, and the rest of us headed for Marmalades in Yea for early lunch. It was raining when we left, so Miss Jane had to don her banana suit to keep the rain out.

Was an cruisy ride into Yea where we had scrambled eggs on toast, eggs benedict, pancakes and pears and Miss Jane's favourite, home made baked beans and poached eggs. Just as we arrived in Yea, we heard a familiar bike then turned to see Jardine just leaving the service station. Didn't see us, or pretended not to and rode off.

After our tasty meals we all bid our goodbyes and headed off home. Sueurchin and I via Yarra Glen and Miss Jane and Mel via somewhere.

Thanks girls for a great weekend , hope to catch up with you again one day if I am invited back again.

I'm gonna steal your RR if you don't mind Canary .

I've down loaded my pictures and although there are not many, there's just enough to write a short RR. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showt...5#post18986185
