In your first picture there is an allen head screw under the cap in about the 7 o-clock position.
Remove it. Just in case you are not able to unlock the cap/broken tumbler/broke key/frozen etc.
You can just use an allen and remove the outside allen head screws and pull the cap to fill the tank.

The aftermarket cap loosened up and flew away to be free on the freeway resulting in about and hour lost looking for it.
A super cool dude loaned me his cap assembly on his 990 so I could ride the Reno200 (another story)
anywho, being the tight wad that I am I choose a fix with good 'ol JB weld.
I put a lot of the sweet gray goop on it so we'll see how she holds up.
seems pretty secure to me just have to be very careful locking it using the key.
