I took apart my Mini Trail in 2007 and am just now getting around to putting it back together. My problem is that I have an odd wire and I don't know where it goes. I have searched the repair manuals and parts fiche online and can't find it anywhere.
![]() ![]() It is a black wire but has a short green sleeve near the pin end. If you happen to have a K0-K2 handy, could you please look and see where it is supposed to be? I'd be ever so grateful! |

It's a ground wire. Ring terminal goes under a bolt somewhere, green-tagged end goes into a green wire with a compatible terminal on it. That looks a lot like the wire some Hondas use to ground the turn signals attached to the headlight shell, but on a Z50 that would be sort of weird since they don't generally have lights.
