DQ --the pics are tearing me up----I know that the pics can not do the scenes real justice but for an old fart like me it is wonderful and you did extremely good work at taking them----

I do have a couple questions-------how in the name of all that is good can you find the only mud hole =------and get stuck-----within 500 miles

couple of the pics of the sand make me wonder how the gsa would be ----probably take it like a pig huh???

really good pics man glad you can take good ones

keep posting
later , KW

Now I hope RQ can get us some more good shots toooo

Thanks for the compliments but I simply point and shoot the camera, and most of them are taken while riding.

As for your questions:

Yes, we probably found the only mud hole in the state, but I didn't get stuck. I was taking pictures of the stuck bike.

As for the sand, Yes, the GSA would be a pig in some of it but it is doable. Heck, as far as I'm concerned they are all pigs in the deep sand.

Were you attacked by Indian or have had wagon trains coming the other way at any stage ? That's the sort of trio I'd love to do, thanks for posting.

Great photos David! Looked like quite the adventure! You guys covered a lot of ground in 5 days. Got pretty close to Moab where we were for a couple of days as well. I hear you about all bikes are pigs in the sand. Some are big pigs, and some are little piggys! Heading back to Blanchard Springs this weekend to ride. Gonna visit a couple of places we rode the last time, Roasting Ear Creek (gotta revisit the scene of the crime) and Spring Creek (where the abandoned horse trailer and pickup were) then some new tracks down the Buffalo River and to the west. Dry as a bone this time around. Camping at Jacks Resort again. Come on up if the Spirit moves you. Take care!
