I have the factory "tall" screen on my 2009 KLR 650.
![]() Previous to the "tall" I had the standard KLR screen. I swapped that one for the MW Vario screen with the adjustable fin on top. That worked very well, but was a bit short. I think one of those adjustable fins atop my factory tall would be the ultimate combo for me, at 5-10" ![]() I was ready to drill my factory tall and put the adjustable Vario fin on it but the plexi was a different thickness, and i was not sure the brackets would work (and did not want to ruin my factory tall screen).

The search engine here is not the best, much better to use Google. In the Google bar:
DR650 windscreen site:advrider.com Always works well for me. Good luck with the windscreen shopping. Sarah

Here is what i did to my wr250r: frame mounted the windscreen and made the windscreen height easily adjustable even while riding. the bike is very stable and has a big bike feel, has great wind protection, and the screen can be easily adjusted out of the way when offroad or moved back up when needed.

Ruffus, that looks oddly familiar. I can't imagine why...
here's mine in bodged on mode... ![]() And clean mode, minus the Aprilia Pegaso Puig screen. The lip is from an Aprilia scooter, I don't know what one.
