I guarantee it will fall over.

Sidecars have 3 wheels, you may count them to check my maths.

Therefore, they do not fall over.

Sidecars are inherently more stable than a nasty, dangerous 2 wheel motorcycle. FACT.

Also, an outfit with car tyres and leading links is no more stable than one without those things. Any sidecar ridden inapproriately, will tip. Much like a 20 tonne truck will too.

Then riddle me this grasshopper ... how do people manage to drive a manual/stick shift car ? ... or heaven forbid a semi ?

And what of those pesky airplanes and helicopters , one of which you have thus far regaled us with having owned at one time ?

Once again sir , brilliant troll

This well may be not your first rodeo as you stated earlier . Being that in my younger days I did bull riding I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for being there at the rodeo ... those clowns play an important part

Well....silly me....

I thought this thread was to provide real world experiences about Ural ownership thus allowing people looking to purchase a Ural to make an informed purchase. I have provided my information. Little did I know it was for hack drivers to measure their imaginary-Internet dicks....

Four aircraft actually, two (a 46 J3 and a 49 C140) that were tail draggers... So, yes, I cramped up laughing at the 'motorcyclist brain' and three controls for braking makes a safe vehicle. If you believe that, ride happy my friend...

And then the 3 wheels don't tip over argument... So, your rig out corners, out accelerates, out brakes, out does ANYTHING (except not fall over at rest) than a solo SV650 does? Explains why there are so many hacks at trackday... They're more stable and fast!!! Sir Isaac and I stand in awe with your firm grasp of the laws of motion....

Somebody buy my Ural, slap a JATO bottle on that sucker and we'll ALL be happy

And why would you want to send this thread to the basement, so even more people who don't have a clue what their talking about can contribute their drivel to it? Leave it here where it was started and belongs.

I'll opine as well.....

Thank God or something... That this topic isn't up for a vote - like a constitutional amendment. Otherwise unthinking people would decide for the rest of us.

For the troll to have an opinion for (only) himself about safe sidecar speeds is one thing. For him to make a blatant statement that all sidecars are unsafe above a certain speed is insane.

As a pilot he MUST understand that each varying aircraft design has maximum gear up, never exceed, maneuvering speeds, etc. - which are all based upon manufactured design.

So as one gentleman stated brand "A" rig may be safely capable of X, while brand "B" hack may be capable of Y.

It must be noted though that when you design your own rig (as I did) you must be wary until you learn to know its' operating maximums. Lest you exceed the boundary layer and end up dead.

Some folks just dont grasp the difference between sharing experiences, and presenting them as universal facts. Then they get all wound up when others laugh at their airs of superiority.
