Just got back to the office from taking EBW some Chik-fil-a for lunch. He said the pain is worse today than it has been at any point. He is one tuff SOB. The doctors said they can't do surgery until the swelling goes down so they are trying to send him home tomorrow. This is scaring him. One of the doctors barged in while I was there. A Security Guard that knows Tim stopped by to see him was in there with me. This was one of the rudest doctors I've ever seen. Apparently Tim had already told him they preferred a different doc and this guy was pissy. They had just given Tim pain meds 5 minutes before the doc showed up in his Hawaiian shirt and no ID badge. i didn't know if he was a doctor or not and almost got in his face for yelling at Tim. This is going to be a long hard road...

On a different note, he did introduce me to "the nurse that gave me a bath this morning"...

Update: sounds like he changed surgeons. New one recomended by some of y'all, thinks he can repair shoulder instead of replacing... may try surgery tomorrow!

Dr. Wallace Weatherly nuff said run from anyone else in jackhole ms

Been busted up more than all y'all put together in one lifetime. This guy can/will put you back together. This is nothing to play around with. All these others mentioned have a terrible repair record. Seen it first hand and glad he wasn't cutting on me.

I know Dr Weatherly on a first name basis he hates motorcycle because of the damage they can inflict on the human body. BUT he is one helluva surgeon and very proactive in his methods. Don't be maimed by some old school quack seek the best you only get one shot at repair trust me I know.

I actually assist these guys in the OR and I see what most don't. Dr. Mcraney is the best shoulder surgeon that currently comes through St. D. on a regular basis, but Dr Weatherly would probably be ok too. I'm just thankful he chose to leave Dr James.

Well I guess my opinion is the finished recipient of ones work. I'll go with that any day. Weatherly is good and the only ortho doc that's going to touch me. I seen Mcraneys work on a friends hand, let's just say it looked scary afterward. I have use of my left arm today because of Weatherlys commitment to excellence.

What he told me last night was that Dr. MCwhoever, the new doc, thought he could work with what is there. The fired doc that was rude wanted replacement. Waiting to hear an update this morning...

He goes under the knife at 1:00PM. Keep him and the doc in your prayers.

10-4.
I figured that was the arsehole that stormed the room when you told that.
Maybe he can get Dr. McWeatherly to do it. Or maybe, on a lighter note, Dr. Lewal to assist in the surgery.....
