I'm busy on Saturday.
![]() But Google map "Rainbow Springs road in Franklin NC". It's easy gravel with nice views. Also, Tray Mountain road isn't too far from you and is more of a challenge. That loop around Lake Burton is a fun little pavement jaunt. Much and more can be found here as well: www.dualsportmaps.com You must create an account on the site to use the features. PM me if you have questions, I probably won't be back to check this post. Thanks, good luck and HAVE FUN! ![]() Django |

You'll be very close to Patterson Gap road that will lead you to several great places to ride. Google Popcorn, Tallulah River, and Charlie's Creek to get started. A loop of this area will give you a great day's riding.

Yesterday we went a little south down 441 to something mountain state park road 78 and ? between clayton and tiger, al. It was a wonderful ride! Steep and rocky, challenging but fun! We hop to find more curves and trails on Saturday for our last ride before we head back Sunday.
Thanks we will check into those listed, but if anyone changes their mind...it is always easier to follow someone than explore and getting lost |

Also, if you head up warwoman, hang a left on 28...follow it maybe 3.5 miles. When you pass over a little bridge take the next right on walking stick rd. It's a great little road that is about 10 miles long and will pop you just outside of highlands. And it doesn't properly show it on google maps....also nice riding south of warwoman off of Earls ford rd.

route
We went up warwoman and found a few trials...we didn't travel too deep in the woods since we were not sure where it ended up. Regardless it was fun. When we got to highlands to gas up, a local rider (marshwater), stopped and asked where we were headed. He showed us a few trails on his way home....
Then we had to head back, so we didn't get to finish all that I wanted to see. We still had a blast and definitely plan on coming back! The accommodations at the Dillard House were excellent!
