Fack. I wasn't able to make the live draft, either. Sometimes having little kids can be a pain.

Good thing about a small league is that a lot of good players are still left.

I just looked at my team. I think I did better with the automatic rankings than if I picked myself, with a couple exceptions.

I think I missed the first 13 rounds.

Last night I watched the Compton High School freshman B team play. That's right. Middle aged, white guy from the Midwest watching a night game in Compton, CA.

Everyone thought I was a scout. I didn't discourage that thought.

Tons of talented players, even for a freshman B team. A cop I was near mentioned that most of those players will end up in jail before they have a chance at the varsity squad. The team had just 3 coaches. Makes you wonder how many fantastic players never make it because they can't rise above their surroundings.

IN!

I too went to a high school game Friday night, our team lost 42-35 but it was a total barn burner.

Stand by for mismanagement and finger pointing!

Hodag and logic continue their congress-like bipartisanship.

On another note, we've all clinched a playoff spot

Unless anyone objects, I'll be changing that shortly.

Lotto's Last Chance Beats Up KLR Cal Posse, Makes Early-Season Statement
Lotto's Last Chance got the highest score this week, thumping KLR Cal Posse 224.70 - 105.25. It was a beatdown for the record books, and the 119.45-point margin of victory was the highest recorded in the league this season. KLR Cal Posse, coming off a 206.00 - 194.15 win against RaiderNation, saw their scoring fall off this week. Adding insult to injury, KLR Cal Posse got zero points from Antonio Gates. Both teams clinched a playoff spot this week. KLR Cal Posse (1-1, 311.25 points) winds up in fifth place while Lotto's Last Chance (2-0, 457.80 points) remains in first place.

I must say, that is a great new feature on the Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football website.
