I'm not happy with the Touratech. After receiving a few hits the front squash the oil filter, also the aluminium is too thin.
I dind't find the thread you mentioned.
The S10 has not left the garage since I put it on. It's boating and small trail bike season here.

I can't find that thread on modifications either. I know I posted in it.

Besides, you've done enough mods for all of us put together.

Edit:

I did find this.....

I took my Tenere off-road today. Or at least, off-pavement.

I have to admit I didn't do much preparing though. I wrote a day trip report here: http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=798470

The rack in the passenger area is very easy to take off if you want to put the passenger seat. Very clever!

Good looking bike! That's quite an angle on the swingarm, so it will be interesting to see how your U-joint and shaft bearings hold up.

It worked fine, no problems at all. Also to take the exhaust off it goes all together, very easy.
This pictures where taken with the first prototype and it was hand made. They are making the pre-production one so I’ll take new pictures when I have it.

Hi,

i have a question regarding the ABS switch mod.

With the switch in place, can you switch between on and off while riding or does the switch put the ABS in a error condition and it remains off till you restart the engine (like the centerstand method to shut ABS off)?

My DR used to be the trail ride of choice. After putting a 351cc kit on the KLX the DR has been all alone.
Kinda like the FJR after the Tenere got in the garage.

I know what you mean on the hurting bones....yesterday was a great ride, but I'm feeling it today.

Sorry for the sidetrack, I've just never met a thread I couldn't derail.

You're not the only one.

But where I come from, I can say "I saved 8K by not buying brand X" So that is my farkle budget.

Unfortunately it's not exactly turning out that way.
