Round Way Round! Fishy's 2012 Adventure ride!
Well, its that time again... I have 9 weeks off with pay....
I have a full tank of gas, an empty cigar box, I will be leaving in the dark of morning after working a 13 hour shift, wearing sunglasses...  I have been preparing for this adventure for some time, but I still don't know for sure where I am going. I do know this... I will be able to find interesting areas, get there and stay there until I want to move on. Last year showed me what I can do on a little bike, and I like it. This year I am taking my trusted WR250X even further... I have made some changes... I put beefy knoblies on my motard wheels.... stoopid fun   I added a trailer...  I added fuel storage to the trailer...  and I changed the gearing to be the same as Mark AKA Bigdog... and I really likey so far.  This year I will be taking my Tipi and stove for true 4 season comfort.  I got a great battery for my C-Pap so I can be better rested for the long days traveling... The adventure will begin with a short hop, but a challenging one. With little to no sleep my buddy, who has very little dirt riding experience and me with my overloaded little bike will challenge Lolo pass and Powerline.     I have heard a few have made it over already so we are going to give it a try. We plan to camp at a friends "Lazy Ranch" then continue to Enterprise the next morning. There, we will set up camp and explore the area. That Sunday he gets to head home and I get to decide what comes next. On my short list are Magruder Corirdor, Lolo Historic Motorway, The Phasemeroi range and who knows? A lot will depend on how much snow is left in the high country and what I am willing to endure. So stock up on your snacks and beer. I think this is going to get entertaining. While you wait you might want to read up on last years adventure... or not. I am soon to be on extended vacation, why would I care?

Setting up camp at Enterprise, OR and exploring the area?
That's all you have to say about that? What about the 60 + ADVers you will be camping and riding with while in that area? Subscribed. This is going to be fun.Will you have a SPOT with you?

I read your other RR some time ago & enjoyed. Looking forward to this one too!
I've got a WRR pulling the Moto-Mule trailer. In it's steerer tube, I used a boat drain plug to make a humidor. Not sure when (bumps or tight turn) but I saw the latch open on the box so I plan to double up with a strap or second latch pin. Didn't lose any gear thankfully.
