Sendler, what weight sliders did you settle on?
I was out on my 125 today thinking about trying the sliders.
Thanks!

Has anyone heard what colors we will be getting for 2014? Europe got a grey one that was quite nice...

I've been commuting to work all week on the wife's PCX and I'm thinking how just about perfect that thing is. Honda's got themselves a winner with that scooter.

i did a 70 mile group ride on it with a local scoot club last weekend, and it really is an ideal scoot. makes my current grom-less life a wee more bearable...

I've been missing several groups rides due to my grom-less too. I just want to smoke those ruckus guys!

12 grams works perfect in the 150. The DrPulley sliders are a great upgrade in every way. No draw backs. There is some good info on PCX.org. Weigh your roller when you take them out to see if they are the same as the 18gm rollers that came in my 150.

We made it! We finished up the last day of our contract yesterday...

http://captnjim.blogspot.com/2013/09...with-bang.html

Now, some time to kick back, do some cruising on our own, then head back to get the scoots.

Really, the PCXes would have made this summer more fun. Really. Thanks to the good folks here who kept posting - it is a treat each day to read through the Battle Scooters threads.

Best wishes,
Captain Jim

It may take a month or so to get back home... somehow, it seems less concern, since I am gainfully unemployed again.

Scootsville... yeah, that sounds like a good destination. Thanks!

Jim

Top Speed?

I have a question for you guys and gals who have your PCX150 broke in. What has been your GPS top speed on level ground with no wind? I had a PCX125 that topped out about 61-62 mph on a Garmin GPS in those same conditions. Is the 150 that much faster?

Thank you.

I do not have a GPS speed to give you but I max out at 68mph on the speedo. I can't go any faster than that. We are at just about 1,500 miles on the odometer.

Sixty-eight indicated was my top speed as well. I never tested the top speed with a GPS but did use one to find out how off my speedo was. Mine was fairly close to accurate. I know that isn't normal for scoots.

Thanks guys. I think I will snare a PCX150 tomorrow night. I liked my PCX125 just wish it went a "little" faster.

I test rode a 150 the other night but it was stone ass new didn't want to bounce it off the limiter. The seat seemed much softer on the 150 vs. the 125? Or am I dreaming?

Congrats! I can't wait to get mine too! I was holding out to see if they'd release a white model here in the US for 2014, cause thats my fav...but that didn't happen. Sooo...it's the Black Beauty for me. Heh heh heh. I have to say tho, It was a real toss up btwn the black & Red. They both look sharp in their own right. Which color did you choose?
