Many thanks
I'm happy to help here in Brisbane, if you don't already have someone?

Hahnelw, way to go Melbourne x 4 :))
Ok, so I got back yesterday from the USA and watched the fillem on the way back. It wasn't working on the way over for some reason or other. Firstly Christofe, you dedication to compete in, and determination to complete the race is nothing short of heroic. Hats off to you mate. It was ok watching on the plane and actualy had a little chuckle to myself while watching some helmet cam footage and the plane struck some turbulance. It was like my own little 4D experience . The sound was ok too but I had my NC headphones so that helped. Great effort and thanks for showing a gumby like me what it's like to attempt, and complete, the Dakar.

I can put one up at work at Tuggerah if you like Christophe, we get a lot of Sydney and Newcastle students.

So is there any truth in the rumor the dvd world release is going to be held at the Anna bay caravan park after a day riding Stockton sand dunes

I'd offer, but I only leave the house to go to work these days...

So I could only plaster between here and Beaudesert with posters.

Oh and only two bike shops...

Thanks

Tiggs -- yes the more the better, please PM your address and I'll post some in the morning.

Haggs -- thanks! glad you were able to watch Dream Racer in '4D' (at least the air hostess didn't tap you on the shoulder and said "sorry.....you can't watch the end!"

rjf -- Tuggerah sounds great, PM me the address to send them to. Students sounds good. And yes, a world launch in Anna Bay again will be great, I just wished the dunes were still open.

Around Broadmeadow today we did Fraser, Kawasaki, KTM, Graeme, Brisen -- so if you guys go in there and you don't see the posters up, pull out the big GUNS!!!

Thanks everyone!!!

Tiggs,

I am getting some posters and already set up with Team Moto to distribute and was going to go around the stores at Springwood as well as Leading Edge and Mikes Bike Tyres near my place. Just so we don't do a double up.

Andy

Sorry for a bit of a tangential threadjack, but for anyone who can remember the mid-1970s Formula One scene, RUSH is a stunning movie.
I went to a preview last night: it is the best-researched movie I've ever seen - there were non-speaking characters just seen in the back of some shots - yet the director has bothered to cast people who look exactly like Ronnie Petersen, Jody Scheckter, Mario Andrretti, Enzo Ferrari etc
Chris Hemsworth plays James Hunt and is a passable replica, but Daniel Bruhl IS Niki Lauda: looks, accent, mannerisms, the lot: he's so accurately cast, it's spooky.
If this was what Reality TV/movies were like, I'd watch a lot more of it!
I picked only two errors in the whole movie.

Now, back to normal service....

CBV,

Posters going up in Brisbane area at:
Team Moto Virginia
Team Moto Enogerra
Gear Factor Brendale
Mikes Bikes and Car Tyres Brendale

Each wanted two posters each so only two left and I was going to do Springwood on Saturday which has at least 6 bike shops so unless Tiggs wants to cover Springwood I could do with more posters. Could also do Olivers Motorcycles and Team Moto Moorooka on the way back let me know.

Andy

A good place to stick up a poster or 2 in Newcastle would be http://www.wickhammotorcycles.com/

Unfortunately I won't be able to get up there until after the movie plays.

Andy,

I have sent you some 8 MEGA posters to put up in shops with high traffic areas and a bunch of A3 sizes as well...that should get some attention!

Thanks again for the support...
