My guide was half my age but I was determined not to let him show me up. I ended up passing him and he was following me most of the way. I would wait up at any turns for him. In fact, he crashed 3 times trying to keep up with me. Here he is wiping the blood off his leg (yeh, I know I am boasting again, but it felt good to whip his 20 something ass.......ok, I know, he was also half my size too)

Here is the hill "Impossible" for which the park was named for. I understand that a lot of the coffee farmers back in the day would die crossing this trail bringing their coffee to the market. My guide walked his bike down. I rode mine down with both wheels on the verge of lock up the whole way down

We got to this point and my guide said we had only one hour left and it was all downhill. I kind of snickered like I wasn't tired yet. So without even telling me, he took me the long way back. It was a way that he had never been before. I knew that because he would stop along the way and ask for directions. It was all up and down steep hills. Even the down hills were brutal. At that point, we were both out of water so he stopped at a random house and he got us some orange flavered drink. I was not sure if it was made with purified water but I didn't care. I was thirsty and drank it all up.
Just when we were ready to collaspe, we made our way back to the town and joked like we were ready for more. We both slept well that night

The next day I did another tour with Impossible Tours in Tacuba. This trip involved hiking in to a canyon and jumping off several waterfalls in to deep pools of chilly water. It was so much fun. The hiking was intense too. We climbed down a 200 foot waterfall without ropes.

Besides jumping, we could also slide down some of the waterfalls on natural waterslides
