And on the big deck overlooking the hills, there was another jacuzzi tub!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got a bottle of wine and took a nice long soak. And because the resort is up about 6500 feet up the volcano, it was nice and cool.

Here is the view from the deck. There were some lakes and waterfalls. One of the lakes was a trout pool. You could catch a fish and the staff would prepare it for your dinner.

And just in case I didn't have enough hot tubs in my own room, right outside my room was some more pools and hot tubs. And then down by the trout lake, there were some more hot tubs. It was fun to watch the trout swim around as I soaked in the water and looked up at the stars at night.

And here is a shot of me out by the pools proving that I was really there and it was not a dream.

Animals

Along with the fancy digs, the resort had an animal reserve with big cats, birds, snakes, frogs, butterflies, hummingbirds and monkeys to name just a few.
Here is a sample of what I saw.
I will post some more pictures and get caught up on my blog later. Right now, the sun is out and I want to go for a swim

This is the highlight of my life. Although there are days when it is tough, I am so proud of myself that I am actually doing it.
And when it becomes work, I will stop. I ran in to a guy traveling on a bicycle for 3 years. He said he was burnt out and nit enjoying it like he did in the beginning. He met a girl and is meeting her in Panama and that's where he will stop.
I learned a lot from him and the natural progression of one's dreamsmarital

Ride Baby! Ride!!!!!!
Its just that two years is a long time to be away.
We'll see where we are when I get back and go from there

however. the only thing that i've learned in my 42yrs of living this life we live is that there is always something else to love. be it motorcycle, lead sled, riding the baja, or doing a trip like yours! focus on your next love and maybe something good will happen.

shit man, you're in the absolute CENTER of the hottest women in the planet, imho...you're a good looking gringo with a spendy bike on a trip round the freakin' world man! and there are those smokin' hot indian women as well......

ride on brother!
I gotta say.......these Ticas are hotties. Too bad my Spanish wasn't better.
And I don't know what it is about the food or the sun here, but they all seem to have large breasts........even the skinny ones. It will be sad to leave CR.

You are doing what you really want to do or you would not be doing it.

Check out James Allen "As a Man Thinketh"

I'm enjoying your photos and tales.
You sound like my GF
Can't I have both?

Today I am going Whitewater kayaking. Keeping busy helps. Waiting for the window to open. Or to reopen the door

Lots of cool birds here. But the Toucans were my favorite
