And here is the guy that made my stay at La Paz possible.......Eduardo.......Senor Wheelie!
He was the manager of the hotel and gave me the big discount
We road to the wine shop together. And this guy could wheelie. I was jealous!

Here's a Sloth. I am not sure if I am spelling it right.
These guys are a very unual animal. They sleep about 18 hours a day.
They have a hook for a foot.
They look like a character from Star Wars
I saw one at a beach town on the Caribbean coast crawl up a telephone pole and then crawl upside down along one of the wires. I wish I had my camera with me. I just watched in amazement. It just didn't look real. words can not discribe them. And this picture doesn't do them justice

This was my favorite snake. It was long and thin. It would be hard to tell the difference between it and the vine it would be hanging from.........at least until it bit you..........then start counting down your last monutes of life

They was a butterfly area too. I have never seen so many butterflies. I am not too cool to say it was pretty cool.
And you can watch them come out of their cocoon and become a butterfly right before your very eyes.

I spent the whole day at La Paz Waterfall Gardens. I didn't want to spend the money to stay in that rockstar room another night so I camped in the parking lot.

Poas

The next morning, I rode to the top of Volcan Poas. It is a 9000 foot active volcano that you can drive up to and look down in to the active crater. The problem is that most of the time it is covered in cloud. And it was no different when I arrived first thing in the morning. But like clockwork, within 5 minutes of arriving, the clouds blew away so I could get these pictures. And 2 minutes later, the clouds came back in and the view of the crater lake were gone.......I think for the rest of the day.......that's why you get there early........it's your best chance to sneak a peak.
