I couldn't believe the picture of the "sloth", very cool. I really am loving the beach scenes and the hot springs.

You are really pushing me along in wanting to sell it all and go adventure for awhile. I am fearful of it though. As much as I love to explore and see/experience new things I am also love home, garden etc. I have been trying to tell myself I could recreate that when I come back....so proud of you for having the courage to do this as I think you will look back on this as an irreplaceable lifetime experience. I would also have to do it differently as I think females have more to be concerned with in the safety department.

I am excited to continue living vicariously through you. Also, where are all the blondes? Everybody you have posted a picture of is brunette! You haven't gone to the dark side have you?

Take care, have fun, and stay safe.

Kim
Hi Kim,
No.......I have not gone to the dark side......this gentleman still prefers blonds.
These are just some of the girls that I have met along the way.
And I hear what you are saying. It's a hard decision to sell your stuff and leave your comfortable life behind for one of uncertainty risk and adventure. Once you get on the road you will realize that a single woman should not be as concerned as one might think. There are lots of solo women travelers out here. And if anything, you will have more doors open for you than I could ever imagine because you are a woman.
If you really want to do it, then you will.
As for meeting a guy on here, I would think that is highly likely.
If you want to meet me, I am in Panama right now.......stop by and say 'hola'
and please.....call me Lalo

Her Coati Mundi 'Bongo" liked to climb all over everybody. He would sit on my shoulder and search through every pocket, looking for treats. And if he thought you were hiding something from him, he would bite your hand pretty hard. I didnt mind, but you had to be careful. Stay safe and keep up the great report!
Well what ever that thing is called, it sure likes muffins.

Pavones

My new favorite surf beach.......Pavones
Sorry, it was not possible to take a picture of me shredding on the waves.
There were some really good surfers there, including 3 girls in bikinis out there tearing it up

You can almost see the air in that K60. How many miles did you get from it?

Panama

Nick and I rode together up in to the mountains to a place called Boquete
There are some cool roads (both paved and dirt) around the area.
The paved roads are all single lane and twisty

Nick takes a corner a bit wide and go down in the marbles. Very easy to do on these roads here.
We wisely turned around and headed back the way we came.
We had a long way to go still and wanted our bikes and bodies to remain in one piece

Nick and I did a little hike up to some waterfalls.
It was nice to chat with someone along the way.
It was also nice to have someone take my pictures as opposed to relying on my self timer on the camera
Nick is a professional photographer, so I was in good hands

The hike cost $10 because it was on private property, but we arived late and the owner was gone.
So no one was there to take our money
A penny saved is a penny earned to I had steak and shrimp for dinner that night.....YUM!
