Some of the Pubs I dropped into on my Phillip Island trip last year:

Sofala NSW:

Gundagai NSW.

Tumbarumba NSW.

Jingellic, NSW.

Wee Jasper, NSW.

Dungog, NSW.

Long Flat, NSW.

Kenilworth, QLD.

Gunalda, QLD.

Not quite as cool as the English pubs, but each place was a welcome break along the way.

Why are they closing at such a rate?

Maybe its the economic climate, perhaps its the fact that the supermarkets under cutting the pubs, or maybe we're just drinking less?
