Southwest Colorado Summer 2012

It was a great summer.
New ride, some new friends, and some exploring with my family....

Views from Last Dollar Road

Mining Structures

Hiking with the family....

RMAR in Silverton

Echo Basin on the KLX

Labor Day Harley's up here.

Overnighter to Blues and Brews with camping at Last Dollar

And an overnighter with Otto to Hovenweep.

I find your lack of faith in the force disturbing.

I just returned from your incredible area of the world. The Aspen's were in full color. You are a lucky man to have this in your backyard. I drove 2000 miles just to ride those awesome roads. There truly are no better roads in the USA than your area. My ability to ride here year round somewhat even's the playing field. Somewhat...

I have ridden my bike there for over 30 years and can honestly say, it never get's old. Or I never get enough of that part of Colorado. Truly, the best part of a great state to ride.

I've ridden all over the east coast and the Blue Ridge Parkway but haven't made it to CO yet. My wife wants us to take our bikes out there and tour the state, but difficult to get out there due to the distance from ATL. We hope to be able to lock down a trip there soon. I see the pics like you and others have posted and envy those who have that as their backyard. Thanks for sharing.
