They aren't water dogs, because a true water dog you have to tie up to kepp him out of the water.

OBTW, they look nice.
Good water dog logic Bob

Good guesses LD.

Being a boaty guy, my lovely wife wanted to get me a water dog of some sort. We save our dogs for many reasons, so she brought home a magazine called Critter. A magazine dedicated to finding homes for animals in need of homes. She knew that was strictly verboten because I am a lump of sentimental goo when it comes to dogs. There was a photo of one of the above puppies at the Barrow County Rescue in Winder Ga. True to form we were down there in a matter of hours looking at 7 of these guys with their mother, a full blood St. Bernard!!! never did find out what the father was.... We keep being tempted by the dna test, but the mystery is fun too! pretty sure he was some kind of bird/hound dog, or an athletic beagle!! Folks find it hard to believe that they are not a purebred of some sort. Every one of the 7 had the same markings. These grew to 90 and 75 lbs.

07/09/12 Monday, continued.
Grand Teton National Park.
All we wanted to do was to continue north on hwy 89, 191, 287. JDR Jr. Parkway. we came to this weird hybrid toll plaza, park entry gate, thinking that we weren't going into the park just up the highway so we wouldn't have to pay any fees. Well..... we had to come up with 1250 dimes (a shitload if you will) just to continue up the highway. $20 from each of the bikes and $25 from the truck.

My $20 photos:

We were all a bit pissed about the robbery, but the place is spectacular

Gee Jax - I've been away and missed all the reloads. Fantastic and got me in the mood for my trip west!

I fly this afternoon to Phoenix to pick up my Yam 250R. I'll ride tomorrow to Page AZ where I made tracks through the Grand Escalante Staircase to Utah Hwy 12. I'll check with the AZ ranger station the route is still open after recent weather. About 100 miles worth called Smokey Mountain Road (for the most part).

I'll meet up with a friend at a camp on the Green River/ Yampa River in Echo Park. We have tracks from there over mostly forest roads through Flaming Gorge to south of Salt Lake, where we pick up the Pony Trail to Nevada.

Thanks for the new pics. My favorite were those wide open WY spaces too.

$20 bucks buys a lot of KLR farkle

Anyway, the reason we were not informed of the Highway hijack is that most people travel from north to south.........guess what, they are not collecting at the exit

Excellent LD. You seem like a person who would know about the FoxFire books.
