Sorry for the side track Jack and it made me sad to see that bike napping.
I was on the Blue Ridge Parkway today and the laurel rocking.

Not to worry. Hardest part of these things is picking the damn thing up.
Bike's been on its side 4 times. Every one was a step off.

Tiger goes down 1 time and I have a busted shoulder and hematoma on 50% of my right side. Guess i shoulda stepped off. Dumbass
As you Morans know... There is a fine line between badass and dumbass.

Thanks for the photos Mick!

I'll get back to this ride report in a bit.

Morning on Thursday 5/16:

Dynamick and EddieBolted went north from HB and LD's farm. H14 and SLiP continued the BRT and Scott n me took a ride on mostly tarmac. We ran into The Snake along the way. As recommended by Highbinder. Well worth the ride

This road is at least a 40 minute road. I am an anteater on a HUGE pile of ants.

For JaxWife:

Me n Scott do the Snake next.

The day before the stop at LD and HB's.

I love that there were six people on this trip with six cameras and no pictures of the same thing.

Been wanting to get this shot for a while. We got it shortly after we broke off from you guys at LD's.

SLiP had to step off his too, but he did it in a pretty spectacular fashion. We were rolling a little too fast and ran up on a washed out portion of the road. Scary to witness but he bounced right up.

View from Comer's Rock, looking toward Wytheville I think.

Found this old mill in Tennessee.

House across the street making use of the old mill stones.

SLiP riding through a cut on an old railroad bed.

Heal up quick Mickey, we need to go riding.

Great posts H14 and Mick! Thanks for the input.

We had a decent lunch there. And it was fun to wander around the store.
I said that I was going to check the bikes and the (I assume owner) says that "this place is guarded by the 2nd amendment."
I appreciated the sentiment, but nobody with a gun was watching my bike.

Dave and Kim are good people...
We have known them for 7 maybe 8 yrs now...
We remember when they had some real slow days....
And HB and I had been the only bikes there...

It sure has changed that's for sure...

They are really nice folks! And he's a funny guy who is an extraordinary salesman. He tried to sell me and Scott extra stickers with the same zeal as he was trying to sell a guy a 400$ leather jacket. Kept saying "I can set you up!!!" They have a great littl business there.

We arrive at Rick's RDV on Thursday 5/16 in the afternoon.

I'll get on with this in a bit.
