Just had a text from a UK Dealer. Prices are (for the UK) as follows:
Standard bike -£12,949. SE model - £14,295. Launch model - £15,149. What this'll translate into internationally i have no idea, but the standard model seems very close to the UK RT pricing. |

Or, better yet, pick up a Concours 14 AND a used KLR for this price, and still have a little left over for some farkles. |

The price is disappointing. I would rather just go for a RT at that price. I was hoping it would come in closer to a FJR.

They aren't selling the 'no electronic stuff' version in the US. The level of standard equipment on the US-spec Trophy adds 2 grand to the base price of an RT (not that you can find a base RT on the sales floor anyway).

They do exist, you just have to look. That being said, I'm sure a standard run-of-the-mill Bonneville won't have too complex of an electrical system to deal with, but all those gizmos and fancy whatnot on the Trophy SE remind me of an old Jag I had. Lovely car, when it worked, which it didn't. |

Well the pricing is very dissapointing. Although I guess I should not be surprised. I will have to wait a few years until I can find one on the used market at a better price.
Back to the search for a Tiger 800.

How is the price disappointing given what you get for that?
