The only bad thing i have noticed is the idiotic looking antennae on the front of the bike. Its not show in the head on pic, because it looks like it was taken off and caovered with a small panel. But it can be seen in other pics.

I want neither radio nor antenna on my motorcycle. I do want to see the long rumored Triumph 350 single.

For a 2013 model, it sure looks dated already - and not in the Bonneville/Thruxton retro way. It looks like something that should be getting pulled off the showroom floor in favor of a new model. I love Triumphs, but I think I'd still prefer the Concours.

That would be a darn-near perfect bike for most riders that are picking up the sport.

It's made in India for the Indian market and they said they won't be bringing it here.

What's next? Combine 2 triple engines and copy the K1600?

I've been a long time GS rider and have to say that I don't see an Explorer as being a copy. For one thing the throttle by wire and integral cruise control is innovative. For another I used to say that a K75 motor made more sense than a boxer and, sure enough, that is essentially what Triumph is providing.

See, if you make a vehicle in the same class as another manufacturer, you are obviously copying them.

I remember an interview with Herbert Von Kunnenheim a few years back saying that the one engine configuration he admired was the triple. I have ridden and owned many bikes and it still is the single best powerplant available for riding pleasure.

The triple is my favorite. I've owned a single, v-twin and inline fours. I've always preferred the 4's, until I rode the triple. It has the best compromise in the twin vs four debate.

I think I smell your strawman burning. It's a bit more than just the same class. Looking nearly identical may have something to do with it as well.

truth is that form follows function. The bottom line is that one will have a Triumph badge on it and the other will have a broken final drive.
