Well of course I see this right after the regular purchase of my NeoTec. This is a smoking deal. Wish it would have happened a week earlier.
Great helmet, btw. I love mine.

Thank you for organizing this! I called Jeff on Saturday and bought the last medium Anthracite in stock, I should have it on Monday! I've been helmet hunting for a while now to replace my very, very aging HJC CL-14 I've been using for 7 or 8 years now. I was a little on the fence about the Neotec because of some noise complaints, but I think even a salad bowl filled with expanding foam would be better at this point than my worn out lid.

Neotec

placed my order today, 7/16. My size and color were in stock and shipped. Jeff said he has another order coming in and the deal is still good!

Wow, this is a awesome deal. I was about to pull the trigger on a new one, but decided to put an ad up on the FM for a used one and somebody told me about this deal.

Now I have to decide on this or a used C3 for $499....... any suggestions? (PM if you don't want to hijack!)

It all depends what fits the best. I really wanted a C3, but I kept getting a sore spot on my forehead. The Neotec felt great from the moment I put it on!
Quality of both helmets is about the same.

Cheers

I received my Neotec yesterday, played with it for a while. Didn't get to use it today, but definitely tomorrow. It fits very well, build quality is great, the sun shield is very well designed (comes down low enough, unlike some other shields in other helmets). The only thing that bothered me is how easily the faceshield fogs. I did read about that before buying though, so it's not unexpected, but still... for that price Shoei really should be able to figure out something better. I'm sure the Pinlock will work great, but it shouldn't be a requirement.

+1

I just got my white XL in yesterday afternoon. Several days ahead of schedule.

The Neotec X-Large White was out of stock till yesterday ( 07/19 ), then the helmet would take two days to ship.

The helmet just arrived this morning.

I called Jeff to thank him for the quick delivery, he said the helmet were made available late Tuesday afternoon and was shipped out the same day. Jeff said he was going to call me an let me know ... but I beat him

If your head is just the right shape, and your adams apple is in just the right place, you might be pretty happy with the C3. If neither of those things are true, you'll probably be mostly disappointed with the fit, as I and many other are.

Thankfully I found one in stock at a BMW dealer. Guy was selling a 2XL C3, which is what fit me great in the Neotec, so I was anxious to know if it would fit as well. No go. Could hardly get i closed with the laxk of chin room and I felt choked as soon as I clipped the strap.

Made my decision for me...

Got my first ride in today and was very impressed! The Neotec beats my old Multitec in every way. It is a much quieter helmet and definitely moves more air through the vents. I currently ride a V-Strom with a stock windshield.

I just called Jeff and the buy is still good to go. Thanks for setting this up. I look forward to quiet riding on Tuesday.

Called Jeff this morning and still honoured the group buy. So I purchased white xl. It was a pleasure dealing with Jeff, as soon as I got off the phone the receipt was already e-mailed and in the inbox, unbelievable...
