Hacky Down

Saturday night Hackymoto experienced a major mechanical when the driveline snapped on his '06 1150 ADV. He was heading back into Tok from Tanacross.
MotoMama was not riding pillion thank goodness. Team Pterodactyl was in Tok when we got the call and we were able to pick up the rider and what was left of the bike.
Chad's Revtec gear worked like a champ. Road rash on the right lower arm and on the lower back at the belt line. Finger tip chewed off at about mid fingernail.
No citation was issued and no other vehicles were involved.
The trooper told us he was concerned the Chad was in shock because he was so calm and quiet. We had to explain that Hacky was always that way.
According to Chad the GS suddenly squatted down and then the rear tire locked up. He stayed with the bike while sliding down the hard pack.
Once they separated the bike continued until it hit a driveway approach, went airborne, summersaulted, and stopped. When the rescue team arrived all the parts and gear were stacked neatly next to the bike.

I'm glad Hacky's ok. Let us know how the RCA turns out on the bike.

New bike time

This might be a good time to put out the word that a replacement 2006 R1150 GSA is needed. Anybody find one anywhere please post. Say, is that white tank good?
