i'm gearing up for another ride through the dez, what size rear D606 are you guys running? how does the Kenda BB work in sand?
last year i bought T63 Michelins but the rear 130 is way too narrow and doesnt work great in sand at all.

I'm so happy about this thread! The main has been such a cluster fuck for so long. Good photos and some civil DR chit chat! That's the good stuff.

Thanks for the kind words goodcat8. I really threw it together as sort of a protest against all the whiney 'I'm smarter than you' posts. Looks like it might have hit a nerve though. No harm done I suppose. Readers are free to hang out both places and it's all good as far as I"m concerned.
I loved the DR you sold recently. When I get back to work full time, I'm going to think about adding the pumper carb to mine and I'm definitely doing the 19" front wheel conversion. I'll probably just get my stock hub relaced and keep the stock rear.

http://www.bikepics.com/members/sbg1/90dr650/ Tell me more about the fairing on the bike? Is it factory on the 1990 DR or after market? And did the 1990's come with the gauges in the pictures? Thanks, Jon...
