I don't know if they own Kymco, but I do know that the 449 is the only Husky motor not made by Kymco. All others are... (310, 511, etc)

Anyone notice there were 3 different 450X under the HRC banner?

1. The new 450x rallye. "current design"

2. The "old 450x" bike JC rode which used a tank with NO shrouds

3. The 3rd "old 450X" bike which used a tank that had bolt on shrouds.

It might be only gas tanks that were different, but there may have been other differences too.

The answer could be that Johnny's bike was Quinns 2012 Dakar bike assembled by JCR in CA and flown over from the states for Morocco, Pizzolitos bike may have been one of the Honda Europe's Dutch assembled machines also from Dakar 2012?
