Ohh I've got a nice one but it's a Guzzi No as Nice as the JAP or Matchless but still stylish. I like the way the carbs and filters splay the hood.

Rotary exhausts run pretty hot. No valves = suck, squish, bang, SEE YA!
A lot of fuel goes out the exhaust in a big port motor too.

I would guess fuel economy would be the number one concern with durability a close second.
