I think my girlfriend said it best. When I told her about Dave's passing she said "you mean the guy with the big smile and pretty blonde wife" she met them once several years ago.
Great love and respect for the man the husband the father and friend. I called him that morning looking for ac help completely forgetting he was on the road. For some reason he was in my thoughts all week. Now he's gone...RIP mr. Morrison you'll never be forgotten.

I thought it would be great to collect images from everyone and make a photo book for Margaret and the kids. There are so many pictures from events that I'm sure they've never seen, or only in passing on ADV pages.

There aren't many things that we can't fix. Whenever a problem is encountered we can call our buddies or post something and jointly come up with a solution. But the feeling of loss and helplessness when I heard of loss of Dave .....................

My condolences.

I never had the opportunity to meet Dave, but as one who deals with death far too regularly, I know all about the pain it causes.

Unless something blows up at my church, I will be at the funeral on Thursday - in collar and motorcycle gear. Can't think of a better tribute to him.

I never met Dr COOL but always read what he posted, his sense of humour always seemed to come through those as well.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Morrison family and I wish you much strength and healing. News of this tragedy has hit me hard and I am deeply saddened by Dave's passing. I mostly regret not having had the opportunity to spend more time with the gentle giant revered by so many of us for his most awesome ways and generous, ever giving spirit.

A tragic loss that will surely be felt by all who knew him, now a void within our hearts as we ride along in our daily lives.

I met Dave at the NOFAR this spring and was impressed with his love of life.

I may have more to say later, but after thinking of little else on the road these last few days it may take me some time.

It has been a privileged to know Dave over these past few years, an honor to have become his friend, and a memory of a lifetime to share his final adventure on this planet.

Mission # 1 accomplished

Mission #2 accomplished

Mission #3 was the most important: To get home safely because he had big plans yet to accomplish with his beloved family. I'm so sorry that we were unable to do this.
