He also said that he would return Dave's original thread so that it could be finished IF, and only IF Maggie, Adam and Scott approved.

This community really does care.
I have to agree with you, Robbie. We kept it down to PM's out of respect for the family.

Didn't know Dave personally, but read alot of his contributions here on ADV.
His words always reflected a genuine man with a love of life, friends and motorcycles.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear the news about Dave. I can tell he meant a lot to his riding friends and especially his family.

Although I never met Dave, I enjoyed his many posts here.

My sincere sympathies to his family and his many friends. RIP Dave.

Oh man... That's some hard news to take.

What a genuine guy. No BS with Dave, he spoke his mind and made everybody feel like a friend right away.

I've been looking back at some of the fun times I had with drcool.
The Batcave tech night was one of them....
Dave and I took a tour of Alex's house and both of us thought "Holy Crap! you could rollerblade everywhere!!!"

Here he is trying to stiffen up the suspension on my old DRZ. I guess there is a difference between 150 lbs and 220

Thanks for the pinch hit, Dyno. Feeling a little helpless 1000kms from my photo files. I'll be happy to add some photo memories as soon as I get home.
