We had seventeen or more hacks on the dual sport ride from Bartow to Ochopee,FL last weekend. All Urals except for Kawasaki and a Harley.

Great fun in the Florida sand.

I've only seen 2 other Urals in Olympia in the past 8 months. Both going the other way so I didn't get to talk to anyone.
But if you happen to be between Montesano and Olympia Wa. on most Mondays or Fridays you'll likely see us running down the road or parked at Big Toms for the lunch hour. Bob doesn't do rainy days but I'm almost always on the bike for the ride.

Two in my area, one a really nice slash two with a Steib and the other a surveyor friend of mine who has an 80's era airhead with a Velorex.

The slash I see on occasion the airhead can be seen almost daily summer or winter.

I live in a county that is bigger than the state of Rhode Island with a population of just over 20,000 people so all things considered not a bad density factor for sidecars.

Well when I go to the garage in the morning to get on my XS650 ratty outfit there is a Sportster/Hannigan sitting there waiting for warm weather. If I was to go out to the barn there is a XS400/Velorex waiting for me to do a little work maybe on the carbs or what ever is making hard to start, that one also needs to get registered so it is legal to ride on the road. Other than those three maybe once or twice a month while riding.

One

I've seen one in my town, Jacksonville, Fl in the last 5 years. It was a 2WD Ural. Saw him at a traffic light.

The only exception is when I took an STEP class, then I saw another one. The class was interesting - it had one sidecar, one CanAm, and one Scooter with a two wheel attachment that gave it a total of 4 wheels, which seems like more of a car not a three wheeler.....

I ride a Suzuki - nothing is up my arse.....

Generally, when riding mine as a 2 wheeler (when I take the car off) other riders wave and smile. When I'm driving it as a sidecar outfit people in cars wave and the other bikers don't...... weird, but just something I've noticed.

I've seen 2 in the last 6 months. The first was KCDakar, we had a nice visit. The second was a weeka go, my dog couldn't take his eyes off it.

KCDAKAR did not offer your dog a ride? Jimmy Dog has ridden in her chair.

If it warms up I could give your dog a ride on Miss Ural?

Times have changed

There has been one Ural running around along with a Left sided rig on a Harley here in the Solvang Ca. area. Never have seen them stopped?

NOW! I ride in a chair a bunch. I found my Brother a Gear UP. Cant get him off it! He has a new Water Cooled GS That just sits since he bought the GU.

Gotta get my /2 conversion back on the road.

Laugh

Seen 3 last summer/fall up here in central west NH. One visiting a neighbor just down the street from me. Beautiful rig but could determine the make. The others were on day trips touring just north of me with a dog and the other a human of undetermined nature.

And then there will be mine once I finish hooking it up to my '81 Silverwing!
