So what did you think?
No spoilers! Oh, nevermind, I think I know how it ends.

It didn't end at all!!!
I was sooooo baffled! What the ????????
Turns out it was only part one of the Hobbit trilogy.
I did not know that they planned to turn it into 3 pieces. Major bummer, I really don't like waiting for sequels........

On another note, this was my first #D movie ever. Awesome, I am hooked. I could almost touch the little birds flying around, they were right in front of my nose,

Hobbit House

Hi Esther,
Thought you might enjoy this article on NPR's website about a guy in Pennsylvania who built a real life little hobbit house to house his collection of hobbit memorabilia. Here's the link http://www.npr.org/2012/12/15/167253...le-earth-to-pa
Great picture of outside & interior...hope you're enjoying warm weather...had 15" of snow in MN last week.

Thanks! That was indeed a cool little house he built!
Somehow though I love the charm of blending in with nature under the ground, either that or being up high in a tree house of sorts.
Still, under the ground makes sense, cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Slowly but surely the days are starting to blur and feel longer.
I am hopeless as far as regular jobs go.
It's getting harder and hard to show up every day, and I've only been there a month!
Still, glad to have the money.
I've been marking the days off on my calendar, and assuming that my seasonal work ends on the first of January, I have only 10 more days of work. I can handle that!
Cruising out to a bike shop in Fort Meyers on Friday to check out the tires they have. Spirit definitely needs some new ones. My boots are thrashed too, maybe just getting new heels put on might do the trick, the left one is cracked in half and missing rubber.
All and all I am excited to hit the road again!

Merry Christmas every one!

Awesome!

I'm sooooo waiting for you to get back on the road cuz I've really enjoyed your RR up to this point. Please hurry up and get going as I can't stand this much longer! (Just kidding.)

Thanks for the great RR......

Neither can I!!!!!
Seasonal work ends on the 10th of January, but there's no way I can hang in there till then, so I'm gonna request early termination. Think I can hang on in there till the third, which is one week longer than planned, but the extra $250 will be worth it. (I hope!)
That means 11 more work days instead of 6, hmmmmm, Oh well.
Got to keep a cheerful attitude even through the not so cheerful parts in life. Haha, and to think that some people are addicted to work.
I don't get it!!!

11 more days of work, and I shall be a free woman again!!
I'm excited.
Slowly but surely the urge to go to Alaska is taking over.
I've ordered free tourist guides and maps, and purchased an Alaska map.
I'm not sure if Spirit is up to the job, but I would really like to go.
We'll see if it's in the cards.
Meanwhile I've been checking the routes though the South, and figuring out where I would like to go.
The days off are a blessing, and are keeping me sane.
I'm in so much trouble! There is just no way I can ever go back to a 9-5 job, no matter how I look at it.
This ride started out with me brainstorming and trying to find out what it is that I wish to do with the rest of my life.
I still am no closer to the answer than I was when I first started out. Oh well, I am sure it will come to me eventually
