Identify this old timey car!

I did about 5 minutes of google, and my guess is Packard Six from 37-47 (minus the war years when they didn't make them). But I don't know anything. What say ye? Year would be of particular interest, as I'm trying to date a video based on this.

It's a 1938 Plymouth 4 door Deluxe Touring Sedan.

If you have screen caps of other cars, that would probably help date it. Also, knowing the location might help too.

Here's some more stills.. Video is San Francisco and seemingly some LA. Planes, boats, cars.

Well the baths closed in 1966. I don't see anything that looks like it's from the 40's though.

The plane is a Douglas Dolphin (introduced in 1931). I'm gonna guess it's probably Wilmington-Catalina Airlines which flew between LA and the Catalina Island's. They stopped flying in 1941. They flew out of LA Harbor so that would match the Port of LA sign seen also here; - http://catalinagoose.homestead.com/w...ncatalina.html
