There are several rides going on today - Ganny, Dr. Cool, etc - unfortunately, I don't want to risk any of them on my 690 Enduro given the recent stalling issues I've been having in stop and go situations. I may end up connecting with some sport bike friends for a sport bike ride somewhere for a few hours...Wish I could do some gravel/dirt/trails today - it will be spectacular...For those of you out riding, have fun and be safe.

I decided at the last moment to go on the ride for Dr Cool. It was a good day with better then forecast weather.

Hi guys Paul from Bowmanville. New to the Dual Sport class of bikes just got back from my Alaska Yukon trip 20,000km in 6 weeks. Coming from a 2004 HD roadglide to a 2012 Yamaha Super Tenere just hit 27,000km and loving it. Don't know if my pig is to big for the type of riding you guys do but i am interested. Thanks Paul.

Tail of the Dragon - As one option....
Loop of one of the Great Lakes?
Algonquin/Ottawa region?

I am going somewhere - don't know where yet - nor does it really matter. I am bringing my camping stuff, but would hotel it also....

I will be going out both day's on a loop based ride out of Peterborough, if anyone has an interest. Probably not 1200 cc friendly, more 650 cc or less. Probably a bit of water, some rock garden, mud and of course, some sand. Will be departing in the am, bomb around for say 3-5 hours.

I have a plan to do a loop south-west of Peterborough on 1 day and a north-west loop the other. If interested in a riding, pm me with an email address.
