Just putting it out there - I'm off Friday thru to Monday, committed to the turkey dinner Sunday afternoon. Although the weather isn't great (I'm not made of sugar :-} ), I hope to get out at least a couple of times over the weekend if anyone has any interest. Just itching to ride.

Will be riding the 250 so, will be staying away from highways or higher speed roads. Would be open to the Ganni, 5 Points Trail area, Pencil Lake Rd. Loop, south east of Bancroft or part of the ODSC Bethany track, you name it. I have the car and trailer and can pretty well haul it anywhere and do a loop.

Will definitely be going to the Ganni early Sunday morning before heading for turkey & ham in Cobourg.

Weekend Ride - Oct 20th & 21st

Would like to get out for an off-road type ride this coming weekend, thinking of a loop out west of Peterpatch, down the hogs-back, beyond Bethany, into the Ganni and across to Bewdley and back. Thinking of doing a meal in Bewdley and heading back to the Patch. This is of course dependent on weather conditions.

The days are getting colder and shorter, pretty soon we will be looking for studs to install in the tires and searching for ice !

Weekend Ride

Well Shawn, Keener and myself met at Bethany on Sunday morning and headed south via the trails to the Ganni, across to Bewdley, through Hope & Hamilton township through the Northumberland Forest where Shawn lead us to the Northumberland Trail Riders land for a membership BBQ. Met some lovely folks and filled our bellies with pulled pork sandwiches, chili, cheese curd, chips, cookies and drinks. The food was much appreciated.

We renewed some old friendships and met some new folks, Keener & Shawn tested out the their single track on the property and then we headed back to the Patch.

What a great day!

I loved the sandy trails under the powerlines, I was barely in control at 80km, gas gas gas... big katoom was just dancing on

Planning on leaving work early on Thursday. Will be leaving Scarborough at 2:30 to ride some road allowances and other play areas. Anything bigger than a KLR650 won't make it through. PM if interested in joining.
