Looks like a temperature sensor for the thermometer there..

Very impressed with all the high mileage lc8's out there! Sub'd for more!

No pics of the roll-over, but I'm somewhere above 140K...

My first speedo/odo lens was cracked by a bird pecking at it at around 60k (the bike was/is parked outside at work), and the replacement now shows 80-somethingK.

And yes, there has been mechanical issues, but nothing that hasn't already been discussed (shift drum, clutch booster, that kind of thing ).

I've done 74000km, about 45000ml, so nearly half way there, no issues whatsoever,great bike!

I too would love to know exactly what regular maintenance you 100K plus riders have done to maintain the bikes??? Im leaving on a RTW in March on my 05 950 adv with 36K on it... Im going to replace the water pump before I leave and I put on a facet fuel pump already, taking another with me... Any tips about a few specifics I need to watch out for and tend to whie on this RTW?
